Explore your Ithaca!
When Covid-19 hit our community and the entire world back in early-2020, I quickly realized that although the world “stopped”, people still needed to buy and sell real estate, and now more than ever, it is all happening from afar. Creating this interactive map was something that I have wanted to do for almost four years. It is a culmination of the neighborhoods you’ll start seeing and hearing as you start familiarizing yourself with our area. It is mostly within the City and Town of Ithaca. These include Fall Creek, West Hill, Cayuga Heights, NE Ithaca, South Hill, and more! In addition, I wanted to add points on the map highlighting areas that I have fallen in love with living here for almost 30-years.
Natural Beauty and Outdoor Recreation:
Ithaca is renowned for its stunning natural surroundings, including gorges, waterfalls, and the picturesque Cayuga Lake. If you enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, and exploring nature, Ithaca provides ample opportunities. The area’s parks, trails, and scenic landscapes make it an attractive destination for those seeking an active and nature-oriented lifestyle.
Educational and Cultural Hub:
Home to Cornell University and Ithaca College, the city has a vibrant academic and cultural scene. This creates a diverse and intellectually stimulating environment. Residents can access a wide range of cultural events, lectures, and performances, contributing to a rich and dynamic community. The presence of these institutions also fosters innovation and a youthful atmosphere.
Community Atmosphere:
Ithaca is known for its friendly and tight-knit community. The city has a progressive and open-minded culture, which may appeal to individuals seeking a welcoming and inclusive environment. The local businesses, farmers’ markets, and community events contribute to a sense of community and connectedness. If you value a supportive and engaging community, Ithaca may be a fitting choice.
